Two to Five Aged Children
At Alltots we take early education very seriously! Our early year’s curriculum is a fun way to provide your child with a head start. We try our best to encourage all children in group discussions and involve them in planning which allows them to become more vocal and independent
Our room is divided into different areas, these include, the Messy Area, there activities include painting, collage, playdough, gloop, sand, water and much more. We also have the Home Corner, Book Corner, Computer Area, Construction Area and Physical Area. The stimulating environment we provide encourages your child make her or his own decisions and choices, which helps build self-esteem, confidence and helps children to learn about other children’s needs.
Two to Five Daily Routine
9.00 Calendar Time and Registration
9.30 Snacks available, Free Play (we offer an open snack for 1hr and a half for children to help themselves
which encourages there independence)
10.30 Group Time (organsied time where staff sit and carry out a planned activity which is suitable for your
childs age, stage and development.)
11.00 Tidy up Time
11.10 Outdoor Play
11.40 Washing of Hands and Preparing for Lunch
11.50 lunches
12.30 Quiet Time or Rest Period we will also provide an alternative table top activity for children that don’t
sleep or rest after lunch.
13.00 Free Play
13.30 Group Time organised time where staff sit and carry out a planned activity which is suitable for your
child’s age, stage and development.
14.00 Outdoor Play and snack (we offer an open snack for 1hr and a half for children to help themselves
which encourages there independence)

17.00 Free Play (children have the opportunity to explore the wide variety of equipment we have to offer with
staff observation and intervention when needed)
All routines are flexible and staff are encouraged to change times and plans to suit individual children’s needs and development.
